Welcome to Blue Ensign Ltd, a specialist family owned yacht survey company established to assist the marine professional or owner of private and commercial yachts.

Our time served yacht surveyor is able to carry out a full structural condition survey and trials prior to purchase, tonnage surveys and registration, including transfer onto commercial registers.

We are able to carry out MCA style surveys for charter yachts, using the new code for Large Yachts ( known as LY2 ), and also yachts under 24 metres, using the Small Yacht harmonised code, using the MCA or Cook Islands schemes.

We can undertake provisional, new build and demise charter registration, and can carry out the necessary inspections required, as appointed flag surveyors for the European Economic Area for the prestigious Cook Islands Yacht Registry and Cook Islands Yacht Squadron.
