For 2010 Blue Ensign are carrying out the Cook Islands registration of a 60.3 metre pleasure yacht of 1300 GRT in Bangkok, Thailand. This vessel will have five decks, a cinema and swimming pool, and is owned by a Chinese businessman. The work is to a very high standard managed by Yacht Solutions Ltd of Thailand.

Also in Asia, but in the Philippines, a new project has started with a 36 metre ( 300 GRT) conversion from a small tanker to an expedition charter yacht, due for completion in late 2010 for an Australian company. The work is being undertaken by Advanced Composite Systems of Subic Bay, a well known local marine company.

The completed vessel will be flagged as a Cook Islands Commercial Yacht.
